The AegorIQ trust badge

Trust is earned quietly. This is how you show it.

Customers decide whether to trust you long before they ever get in touch, and your website does most of the talking. When you tighten a privacy policy or close a security gap, you're earning that trust quietly. The badge is simply a way to let people see it.

What it is

A dated record of an independent review.

When your review is finished, you earn a badge. It's a small image you can put in your footer, next to your ABN, or on your contact page. Clicking it opens a page on our site that shows what was reviewed, when, and what the review found.

The date is on the badge itself, deliberately. A trust mark with no date is asking to be believed indefinitely, and no honest review can support that.

It's served from our servers, not yours. That means it can't be copied, edited or kept alive after it lapses — and when your score changes, it updates itself without you touching your website.

Displaying it is entirely optional. Nothing appears anywhere, and no page about your business exists, until you switch it on — and one click turns it off again.

What it isn't

It is not a certification. We're not an accreditation body and we don't audit to a standard.

It is not a guarantee that your website is safe, and it isn't legal advice. A review is a point-in-time reading of what we could see on a given day.

It doesn't cover what we couldn't test. Some checks can never complete — Australian domain expiry dates aren't published, for instance. Anything we couldn't reach is listed by name on your verification page, so "49 checks" is never mistaken for "49 passed."

And it says nothing about the quality of your product, your service, or your business. Only your website, and only the parts we read.

The three levels

Every review earns a badge, and it moves up as your website does.

Committed

Yours the moment your review lands, whatever it finds.

This is the one worth explaining. It says you had your site independently reviewed and you're acting on what came back. It does not say your site is problem-free. Plenty of businesses display it exactly as it is, because having looked is itself worth something — and plenty prefer to wait. Both are reasonable.

Reviewed

A score of 80 or above, with no critical issues outstanding.

Reached by working through what your report found and re-scanning. Available on every paid tier — a well-kept site on Essentials gets here just as surely as one on Expert.
AEGORIQ · TRUST REVIEW Security & privacy reviewed Independent review · 49 checks · Aug 2026

Reviewed in depth

The Expert deep scan run, with nothing left outstanding in it.

Earned rather than bought. Expert opens the door — it's the tier that runs the deeper 14 checks — but an Expert customer with findings still open stays at Reviewed until they're addressed.
Moving up

Fix something. Re-scan. The badge catches up.

You never apply for a higher level, and you never ask us to review a decision. A re-scan re-runs the same checks and the badge follows the result — which also means it can move down if something breaks.

01

Work through your report

Every finding comes with what to do about it. Some are ten-minute jobs; some need whoever looks after your site.

02

Re-scan when you're ready

Free for 90 days, as often as you need. We confirm the issue is actually gone rather than taking your word for it.

03

Your badge updates itself

If you've crossed a threshold, the badge on your site changes on its own and we email to let you know. Nothing to reinstall.

We only email on the way up. A tier drop is on your re-scan page rather than in your inbox.
How long it lasts

Twelve months, then re-earned — not renewed.

A badge stays current for 12 months from your paid review. After that it stops displaying: it disappears quietly rather than showing anything negative on your website, and the page it links to says the review has expired.

There's no auto-billing and nothing to cancel. If you don't come back, it simply lapses.

When you do come back, the level is worked out afresh from that new scan. A site that has slipped won't keep its old level, and a site that has improved may earn a higher one.

That's the part that makes it mean anything. A badge you keep forever regardless of what your website does isn't evidence of much.
