Different categories carry different obligations — health and other "sensitive information" attract stricter rules under the Privacy Principles, and credit information has a separate regime of its own. Tick every type that applies and we'll tell you which rules follow.

If you hold logins you hold passwords, and people reuse them — which changes what a breach would mean for you. We can usually see this ourselves; answering just makes us certain.

Do you sell physical products that you post or deliver to customers? (optional)

A shipping/delivery policy is only relevant if you send physical goods. This tells us whether to check it for you — service and digital businesses don't need one.

Do you use AI or automated systems to make decisions about customers? (optional)

From 10 December 2026 a new Privacy Act rule requires covered businesses to disclose automated decision-making in their privacy policy. This tells us whether to check it for you.

Do you send customer information overseas? (optional)

If any customer data is handled outside Australia, the Privacy Act (APP 8 / APP 1.4) requires your privacy policy to say so and name the country. This tells us whether to check it for you.
