AegorIQ
AegorIQ Advisory

The scan finds it. A person works out what it means for you.

An AegorIQ assessment tells you what your website shows a customer, a regulator, a hacker and an AI assistant. Advisory is the next step: sitting down with those findings and deciding what actually matters for your business, in what order, and who should do it.

The discovery call is complimentary and runs about 30 minutes. Advisory is not sold through online checkout. We agree the scope first, then invoice.

We still do not build websites and we do not fix them.

Advisory is judgement and coordination. The assessment behind it is produced by the scan engine, so what the report says does not change based on what you buy.

Why independence matters
Meet your advisor

Judgement, not just output.

Melanie Chin, founder of AegorIQ

Melanie Chin, MBA MAICD

Founder, AegorIQ

Melanie founded AegorIQ and leads every advisory engagement herself.

Her background runs across software engineering and e-commerce, commercial operations and business strategy, with more than twenty years spent in corporate roles and running her own ventures. That mix is why AegorIQ works the way it does. The problem was never that small business owners do not care how they look online. It was that nobody joined up what their website was showing people with what it was costing them.

In an advisory engagement her role is judgement rather than execution. The assessment produces the evidence, across four scored pillars and the four readers your website already has. Melanie works out what that means for your business, in this quarter, on the budget you actually have, and brings in qualified legal, security and technical specialists where a question needs one.

Melanie takes a limited number of advisory clients at a time, because the work needs enough room to understand a business before recommending anything to it. It also means the person you meet on the discovery call is the person who does the work. When you engage AegorIQ Advisory, you are working with its founder.

The evidence · AegorIQ methodology

Four pillars. Four perspectives. One connected business view.

We use AegorIQ's Deep Scan as the discovery assessment, then apply experienced human judgement to interpret what the findings mean.

The four pillars

What the technology measures

Security

Observable technical protections and exposure indicators.

Privacy

Published privacy practices and visible data-handling signals.

Compliance

Relevant website disclosures and potential gaps requiring verification.

Performance

Speed, reliability and user experience signals.

AI Readiness remains informational and separate from the four-pillar TrustScore.

The four perspectives

What the human considers

Customer

Would I trust this business enough to enquire, purchase or share information?

Regulator

What visible disclosures or practices warrant further compliance review?

Hacker

What might a hacker notice, within the authorised scope of review?

AI

Can automated systems discover and accurately understand this business?

Human-led advisory

Choose how far you want to go.

Every level includes two Deep Scans: one at the start, to establish where you actually stand, and one at the end, to show what changed. Both are run by the same engine, so the before and the after are measured the same way. If you have already paid for an eligible Deep Scan, that amount is credited toward your advisory invoice.

Level 1

Digital Trust Consultation

The former Expert audit, offered as a human-led advisory service rather than a self-serve purchase.

$497AUD, one-off, invoiced
  • A Deep Scan at the start and another at the end, so the change is measured
  • All 52 checks, with Melanie reading the findings against your business
  • A prioritised roadmap of what to fix first
  • A 60-minute Trust Framework call working through your site together
  • Free re-scans for 90 days
  • Your report follows within 2 business days
  • Puts the top badge tier within reach

Level 3

Digital Trust Transformation Oversight

For owners who want the plan and someone independent keeping it moving for three months. We arrange and oversee. We do not do the work ourselves.

$1,997AUD, covers three months, invoiced
  • A Deep Scan at the start and another at the end, so the change is measured
  • Human-led strategic analysis
  • Up to six hours of advisory and coordination across three months, with any additional time quoted separately
  • A roadmap written by us, with ownership named against each item
  • We shortlist the specialists worth considering. You decide who to use
  • You pay those suppliers directly, so we take no margin on their work
  • Progress tracked against the agreed actions, and reassessment arranged

Your advisory journey

From discovery to decisions.

01

Discover

We discuss the business, what you are trying to achieve, and any assessment you already have.

02

Assess

Deep Scan provides the baseline, with targeted human investigation where it is warranted.

03

Interpret

The four pillars and four perspectives are applied to your commercial context, not in the abstract.

04

Act

We agree priorities, who owns each one, and a plan that fits the time and budget you actually have.

Engagement boundaries

Clear scope. Clear ownership.

These apply to every level, and to Transformation Oversight in particular. They are here because a coordination service with vague edges is how both sides end up disappointed.

What the fee is, and is not

The $1,997 is AegorIQ's own coordination and advisory fee, covering up to six hours across three months. It is not an unlimited project-management commitment, and it is not a promise that every fix to your website is included. Work done by other suppliers is quoted, contracted and paid for separately by you, which is also why we have no financial interest in which of them you pick. What our fee covers is set out in the statement of work before you are invoiced.

Questions

Before you book

What happens in the discovery call?

We discuss your business and work out which level of advisory is appropriate, or whether you need one at all. The call takes about 30 minutes and is complimentary. It does not include a full assessment, detailed findings or implementation work.

Is a Deep Scan included?

Two are. Every advisory level opens with a Deep Scan, so the advice starts from evidence rather than an impression, and closes with a second one, so you can see what actually changed. Both are included in the package price.

What if I have already purchased a Deep Scan?

The amount you actually paid for an eligible Deep Scan is credited toward your advisory invoice. If you bought it at a discount, the credit is what you paid, not the list price.

Why can I not buy advisory online?

Because the scope is different every time. We agree what the engagement covers in writing first, then invoice. Our Essentials and Deep Scan assessments are unchanged and can still be purchased online.

Does AegorIQ provide legal advice or penetration testing?

No. We provide business-focused advisory based on the evidence available to us, and refer specialist legal, cybersecurity and other regulated work to appropriately qualified professionals. Nothing in an advisory engagement is legal advice.

Do you build or fix the website?

No. We do not build websites and we do not fix them, at any level. Transformation Oversight means we write the roadmap, shortlist the people who can do the work, and oversee progress for three months. You decide who to engage, you contract them directly, and you pay them directly. We receive nothing from them.
